UPDATE
 

DACC board members continue to work with members in order to get acceptable local agreement verbiage to take to management. Good job for their hard work.

The Jim Boyd memorial scholarship bowling will take place in April at Beaver Dam. Interested staff can sign up in the Control room.

Reminder, nominations will be taken April 14th meeting for our elections in May.
We continue to expand our web site, any information staff would like to see or any event DACC staff would like added on the calendar please e-mail Secretary Weber.

Our DACC board members are working vigorously toward the completion of your local. The outcome on the verbiage currently being voted one will be posted on this page.

We have received an E-mail DACC Superintendent Graeber will be retiring in June.

Results are in…….Only twenty-five members voted.  Management will review the changes and we will revote on the local if accepted. 

1. Cancelled overtime:
A = 6
B = 19

1. Cancelled overtime:
A) Once a sergeant's request to cancel overtime is approved, the sergeant will remain ineligible to accept overtime for the day of the cancellation. (This is what the old contract states)

      B) Once a sergeant's request to cancel overtime is approved, the sergeant will remain ineligible to accept overtime for the day of the cancellation, but, may accept a force from another sergeant

2. Overtime on paid leave:
A =11
B = 14

      2. Overtime on paid leave:
      A) A sergeant on paid leave may accept overtime in accordance with the following sequence as long as it is not for the time that the sergeant is on paid leave: ****Applies to M-F sgt's also****

      1) Most senior Sgt on day off.
      2) Most senior Sgt working.
      3) Most senior Sgt on paid leave

      B) A sergeant on paid leave may accept forced overtime. The overtime can not be for the time that the sergeant is on paid leave.

      A) A sergeant on a trade can not be ordered for forced overtime.
      (This is what the old contract states)

      B) A sergeant on a trade can only accept a forced ordered overtime.

      C) A sergeant on a trade WORK can be ordered for forced overtime by seniority.

       f) The trade policy is for the benefit of the sergeants and is not to be abused. Management may deny trades if there is evidence of abuse.

      g) Use of un-excused sick leave on a scheduled trade day or failure to work the shift traded (No Call/No Show) will result in denial of trades.
